Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Being the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the field of space and has was a part of the space industry for five years, reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. Through her tenure, she reported on the 2020 presidential campaign, the impeachment trial as well as two initiatives to end the pandemic coronavirus, as well as two different administrations' efforts. Kristin was on the road extensively, including both the president and vice-president. She was even on a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump.
